Courses - TVOC

Tactical Vehicle Operators Course (TVOC) is a two to three day course that combines the driving and shooting skills of todays operators, and prepares todays operators to operate in smaller configurations. This course gives the operator the skills necessary operate a vehicle with in a convoy in a less than permissive to non permissive environment. Mission planning to execution are covered in this course, to include actions on contact and downed vehicle drills.

This course starts with teaching the operator the fundamentals or driving in a less than permissive or non permissive area. There are only a few things you can do with a vehicle, such as accelerate it, turn it, slow it down or wreck it. We concentrate on the first three (Turning, braking and accelerating) so the operator doesn't experience the last one (wreck it). After some time behind the wheel of one of vehicles (sedan or SUV), we move on to the Convoy Operations segment. This combination of lecture and practical application introduces the operator to the nuances of operating with in a smaller convoy (2-3 vehicles) and teaching the operator what parts of their environment they can control, and those they can not.
